Late 19th century cottage, already lifted and built-in, but the rear kitchen was in a tiny space, built in 1930’s, and the rear yard was ignored. By extending the gable into a gull-wing shape, and gradually stepping down, a modest extension has linked the building to the property, while providing badly needed space for a kitchen and eating area. The old dark kitchen space is now a light-filled walk through study.
