Weekender cottage in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, with classic lines and broad overhangs. This cottage was designed in 1998 to handle a rear addition for a master bed and study wing, added 4 years later to create a lovely mountain residence. Owners at the time loved the broad ‘hat’ of a roof, as it provides excellent protection from the high rainfall, good solar control and increased rain collection for the tanks. It was slightly changed on the lower level with an extra room closed in, and later sold in 2018 to a new happy owner. In late 2024 that owner put it up for sale, and it still looks great.
